A WARM WELCOME TO HELENEKILDE

Helenekilde Badehotel is a coastal retreat overlooking the Kattegat, where tranquility, genuine hospitality, and personal service create the unique seaside hotel atmosphere for which we are known. Here, you can find information about our services, opening hours, and general guidelines, as well as gain a better understanding of what to expect during your stay at our historic seaside hotel.

SEASONAL OPENING TIMES

To help you plan your visit, please find our seasonal opening hours below.

SPRING / SUMMER 2026
From 24 March to 24 October, the hotel is open seven days a week.

AUTUMN 2026
From 25 October to 19 December, the hotel is open from Tuesday to Sunday, with check-out by 11:00 AM. The hotel is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

CHRISTMAS CLOSURE 2026
Helenekilde Badehotel will be closed from 20 December 2026 through 7 January 2027.

JANUARY 2027
We look forward to welcoming guests for a new season from 8 January 2027.

8 JANUARY – 15 MARCH 2027
From 8 January through 15 March 2027, the hotel is open from Tuesday to Sunday, with check-out by 11:00 AM. The hotel is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

FROM 16 MARCH 2027
The hotel is open seven days a week.

PARKING

Parking is free of charge at Helenekilde Badehotel. We also offer 6 chargers for electric vehicles – see section below for more information.

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING

Helenekilde Badehotel offers electric vehicle charging with six modern charging stations available to hotel guests.

The current charging rate is displayed directly on the charging station before charging begins. Payment is made easily and securely at the charging station using a credit card or charging tag, and is not handled by the hotel.

We are pleased to offer this service as part of our commitment to comfort, convenience, and sustainability.

CHECK-IN & OUT

Check-in and Check-out: Unless otherwise agreed, check-in is available from 3:00 PM, and we kindly ask all guests to check out by 11:00 AM.

Security: For security and fraud prevention purposes, we kindly ask you to confirm your identity by presenting a passport, driving licence, or other form of photo ID at check-in.

Guests travelling from outside the EU: If you are travelling from outside the EU, we are legally required to request your passport and details of your next destination at check-in. If you are unable to present your passport, we reserve the right to refuse your reservation. This information will be stored for 12 months and may be shared with police or other authorities as required by law. We are required to collect this information for every member of your group aged 16 and over, and we reserve the right to refuse entry to Helenekilde Badehotel to anyone who is unable to provide these details.

Guests under 18 years of age: Please note that all guests under 18 must be accompanied by adults during their stay. We reserve the right to refuse entry to Helenekilde Badehotel to anyone under the age of 18.

HYGIENE & CLEANING

Hand sanitizer is freely available in all rooms, as well as in all common areas such as the reception, restaurant, bar, and more. We carefully disinfect all surfaces in shared areas and thoroughly clean the restrooms in common facilities. Guest rooms are cleaned daily.

ALLERGIES

At Helenekilde Badehotel, we care deeply about the well-being of all our guests. We offer alternative menu options for guests with allergies or specific dietary requirements. Please speak with your server for more information, or contact our reception at kontakt@helenekilde.com prior to your visit.

PETS

We welcome pets at Helenekilde Badehotel under the following guidelines:

Pet-friendly rooms: Dogs and other pets are allowed, with a maximum weight limit of 20 kg. Pets may only stay in guest rooms and are not permitted in the hotel’s public areas.

Pet fee: A one-time fee of DKK 750 per stay will be added to the room rate upon check-in.

Policy on damages and disturbances: If any damage occurs or additional cleaning is required as a result of your pet, a reasonable fee will be charged to the card used to guarantee your booking. To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we reserve the right to terminate your stay if your pet causes disruption.
