Welcome to Helenekilde Badehotel

Helenekilde Badehotel is a coastal retreat by the Kattegat, where tranquility, presence, and personal service create the distinctive seaside-hotel atmosphere we are known for. Here you can read more about our general guidelines and gain a better understanding of what to expect during your stay at our historic seaside hotel.


Seasonal Opening Times at Helenekilde Badehotel

WINTER 2026: From January 8 – March 23, the hotel is open from Tuesday to Sunday, check-out at 11:00 (closed on Sundays and Mondays).

SPRING/SUMMER 2026: From March 24 – October 17, the hotel is open every day of the week.

AUTUMN 2026: From October 18 – December 19, the hotel is open from Tuesday to Sunday, check-out at 11:00 (closed on Sundays and Mondays).

JANUARY 2027: We look forward to welcoming you to a new season from January 8, 2027.


HYGIENE AND CLEANING

We provide hand sanitizer for free use in all rooms and common areas such as the reception, restaurant, bar, etc. We are diligent in cleaning all surfaces in public areas and cleaning toilets in the common areas. The rooms are cleaned daily.


PETS AND ALLERGIES

At Helenekilde Badehotel, we care deeply about the well-being of all our guests. We offer alternative menus for those with allergens or specific dietary needs. Contact your server for more information – or contact our reception at kontakt@helenekilde.com before your visit.

We welcome pets at Helenekilde Badehotel with the following guidelines:

  • Pet-friendly rooms: Dogs and other pets are allowed with a maximum weight limit of 20 kg. Pets are permitted only in guest rooms and are not allowed in any public areas of the hotel.
  • Pet fee: A one-time fee of DKK 750 per stay will be added to the room charge upon check-in.
  • Damage and disturbance policy: If any damage occurs or additional cleaning is required due to your pet, a reasonable fee will be charged to the card used to secure your booking. To ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests, we reserve the right to end your stay if your pet causes any disturbance.

MEETINGS AT HELENEKILDE BADEHOTEL

It is safe to hold meetings and conferences in the meeting rooms at Helenekilde Badehotel. All meeting rooms are kept closed to other guests’ access in the hotel.

To ensure the safety of our guests and staff, we follow the guidelines below:

  • Each participant will receive their own notepad, pen, and pencil. If you need other office supplies, please ask at the reception.
  • Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and directed to your meeting room. There, we will go over the day’s agenda and catering arrangements.
  • All catering throughout the day will be served according to your needs.

Meeting guests are not allowed to use the living rooms as breakout rooms unless arranged beforehand. Please contact the reception if you wish to add a breakout room.
